Episode 3

Mad Dog and Tina

These two have really bonded. It just puts a smile on my face when I see these two. They’re having the time of their lives! I just wonder why Tina voted Mad Dog off. Did Tina just go with the general consensus to save her ass? She could have voted for someone else just to show Maralyn that she didn’t want her to go. Mad Dog would’ve still gotten the boot anyway, but at least Tina has shown her loyalty to Maralyn. I think if Tina voted otherwise that vote would affect her relationship with the tribe. Ogakor would know who voted whom.

Jerri and Colby

...sittin’ in a tree B-A-C-K-S-T-A-B-B-I-N-G. Hey! Backstabbing is a long word you know!

These two are developing into a force that has to be reckoned with. Besides the cavorting, flirting and massaging (you can read all about that at the episode summary), these two are definitely up to something. *sniff* Alliance? Yeah, but both of them are still willing to vote each other off when the need arises.

Keith and Jerri

The tiff between these two is still not over. Case in point: when Keith was telling the rest of the tribe that he’ll coat the fish with flour then fry them, everybody was all, “Yum! Okay!” Jerri, on the other hand, said they should just save the flour. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I actually agree with Jerri on this, because it is pragmatic. But of course this is Jerri! You know, scheming and conniving. She doesn’t want her tortilla gig to be over! That’s why she uttered that statement: a) to tick Keith off (and boy was that look that he gave Jerri so precious! Those eyes were shooting more than daggers. ), and b) to keep her tortilla gig.

Amber and Jerri

Amber...Amber is Amber, I still can’t figure her out dammit! Although I have to say that she has also bonded with Jerri. Amber seems like this little puppy dog and Jerri holds the leash. Seriously, she smiles whenever Jerri acknowledges her. Look at Tribal Council, Jerri was saying all this crap about how, “I am so fortunate...” yada yada, “to have bonded with...” and then she mentions Amber and she was grinning at Jerri from ear to ear. In my opinion, Amber is very afraid of Jerri and that grin at Tribal Council was a huge grin of relief. Somewhat like, “Whew! Okay, uber bitch won’t vote for me.”

Mitchell, Colby and Keith

We’ve got two backstabbers here. Keith thinks that he has a good bond with Colby and Mitchell. He was actually quite careless of recommending to Colby that Mitchell be voted out. Did he not notice that those two were always with Jerri? With the information at hand, Colby then relayed to Mitchell what Keith said to him. And look! There’s Keith now with a knife sticking out of his back! Keith, you are my only hope of standing up to Jerri. Trust no one!

The budding alliance (?) – Jerri, Colby, Amber and Mitchell

I just want to get this in: Mitchell has a lot of confidence when he talks about his place in the tribe and who is going to get the boot next. Could an alliance be the fuel that powers this guy’s displaced confidence? Colby seemed really into this budding alliance. As I have mentioned earlier, he relayed to Mitchell what Keith (confidentially) shared to him. It is a very obvious indication that Colby is watching Mitchell’s back.

I think Jerri hauled Amber into this alliance. She is, after all, Jerri’s puppy dog.

Everybody Loves Mad Dog

I think all of Ogakor loves Mad Dog very much. She is such and interesting character, and she makes everyone laugh, but alas, the physical challenge got the best of her. Colby was practically dragging her through half of the course. She got voted due to her lack of physical ability rather than bad relationships with her tribe members...or beef jerky.
